Peas
We planted a ton of peas this year and only a few have survived. This little guy is growing strong, and it's growing on the trellis we built to replace the massive rhododendron. We thought our neighbor would be upset that it took some of his privacy away, but it had the opposite effect. He sits on his porch and plays his acoustic guitar while we garden. It is very nice. We are enjoying the company of our new neighbors as well. I've become quite fond of our north Delridge neighborhood.

Pray for peas.
This is another good sign. I can't wait to see the peas cascading over the front wall! I hope they survive this crazy weather.

Gutter Peas (that's a good name for a band!)
In order to maximize our minimal space, Andy thought to attach rain gutters to the front planter boxes. The peas will grow, and instead of taking up space in the garden (like peas tend to do), they will grow down the front wall and look beautiful and green.
