Andy's Hops

We hadn't seen much change from last year until Andy noticed these flowers! Now, we are noticing them all over the vines. It's a big difference from our first growing season in which we yielded a total of four flowers. 

Pretty potatoes!

Our potatoes have pretty purple flowers blooming amongst all that green! I don't remember them from last year, but I think they are from the Red potatoes and not the Yukon Gold. We only had YG last summer which explains why I don't recall the purple.  Flowers or no flowers, I can't wait to boil the tiny and tasty new potatoes!  

We don't plant flowers...

...but the flowers that bloom before our veggies grow are just spectacular sights to see!  Below is one of the many flowers blooming on our pumpkin vines. The yellow is so vibrant and fresh.
