Lazy Kitty

This photo pretty much sums up our cat, Tina. We brought her home with the expectation of a great mouser, but instead we ended up with a cat on holiday.  She is the laziest. The. Laziest. Her only mission is to find shade and sit in it all day long. She moves only as the sun moves her shade. No joke.

Andy still thinks she is a good hunter, but I'm still waiting. I hope he proves me wrong.

Shrinkage & Tina Bobeena

After checking on the starter in the morning, I saw that it had shrunk down to the amount when I first placed it in this giant pickle jar. I'm not exactly sure what happened or why it reacted the way it did, but here it is!  I smell pancakes and loaves of bread in our future!

Tina visited the vet yesterday and came home microchipped and fixed. The cone stays on for another five days and she cannot go outside for another nine. Tilly cracks up every time she sees the cone. Evan loves to baby this little kitty and helped Tina try out a few different bowls to drink out of until they found one that worked. Andy promises that that Tina will be catching mice in no time. Promises. Promises.

Freakin' Tina

That, my friends, is the feral barn cat we picked up as a mouser for the yard. Andy promised it would be an outside cat only.

Does a better job as a hat than as a mouse killer.

Yesterday & Today

Here is our mouser cat.  Her name is Tina. Her purpose is to catch, kill, and eat mice and rats that invade our yard.

These are jars of grape juice canned with Grandpa & Grandma Great's grapes. This juice is fantastic!
