I asked Evan to take a photo this evening and she chose this nice bunch of grapes. They are slowly getting plumper and plumper. Each little bunch will be a nice snack come September. The girls can't wait!

Grapes

Out of our three plants, these white grapes have really taken off! I still think we have a couple years before we get any fruit, but I'm sure it's worth the wait!

Grapes

All of our grapes are growing this spring!  The last vine has really taken off and has reached up to the wire. The middle grapes are slowly catching up. Our transplant of Grandpa Smith's concords have blossoms!  We thought they were done for, but they're still growing!

Grape Juice

We tried our hand at grape juice. It was before I bought the cheese cloth. Haha
We'll see how it goes when we crack open these quarts. It might take a LOT of Sprite to cover the pulpy taste. Cross your fingers!

Yesterday & Today

Grapes!

Juicing more of Grandpa and Grandma Smith Grapes for juice and jelly. Tilly loves helping out, and this was an easy way to get her hands dirty in the kitchen. She had lots of fun!

Time to prune.

These grapes took off, but now it's time to prune....I think.  Any suggestions what to do next?! I know we need to prep for the coming year, but what's first?

Yesterday & Today

Here is our mouser cat.  Her name is Tina. Her purpose is to catch, kill, and eat mice and rats that invade our yard.

These are jars of grape juice canned with Grandpa & Grandma Great's grapes. This juice is fantastic!

Grapes

Andy transplanted one of Grandpa Smith's grape plants along the North fence. There are buds on the vine. I hope they flourish!
