Pretty potatoes!
Our potatoes have pretty purple flowers blooming amongst all that green! I don't remember them from last year, but I think they are from the Red potatoes and not the Yukon Gold. We only had YG last summer which explains why I don't recall the purple. Flowers or no flowers, I can't wait to boil the tiny and tasty new potatoes!

Grapes
All of our grapes are growing this spring! The last vine has really taken off and has reached up to the wire. The middle grapes are slowly catching up. Our transplant of Grandpa Smith's concords have blossoms! We thought they were done for, but they're still growing!

The last of the tomatoes. I promise this time.
Ha!
This is all that is left of the five large tomato plants we grew in our front garden beds. I will miss seeing them grow wildly about. *sigh*

This week
I know I've slacked off on the photo journal this week. It's been busy and I'm exhausted. I know this is cheating, but I'm doing it anyway!
Here are a few pictures of our fun jelly making session today. We used a couple of grocery sacks full of Grandpa and Grandma Grape's (Smith's) grapes. It is such a tasty and perfectly sweet jelly. It was so delicious Evan was caught stealing spoonfuls!

Eating a rainbow!
These awesome, colorful, yummy carrots were pulled and eaten with dirt still on them! Haha "A little dirt don't hurt"...I've actually heard Chacha say that! There are a few still out there and we will be harvesting them soon. The rabbits enjoyed eating the tops. It was nice not to have to let them go to waste.
It's almost time!
We are another vegetable closer to salsa!
