Almost there!

Well, this berry anyway, but where there is one there will soon be many! Matilde has already "called" this one, so the rest of us will have to wait to taste the sweet juice of an organic homegrown strawberry.

A new home for bunny.

Morgan decided to adopt one of our kits. Bun-Bun is loving her new home, and Morgan is loving her new friend.

Although this one was saved from my stew pot, we were able to recoup some of the cost for feed. It's a nice trade.

Is that what I think it is?!

Eureka!
What a sight! I am excited to see our broccoli growing probably as much as the girls are dreading having to eat it! Hahaha #badrap

A bit of bad luck

Just when I was getting excited for the rapidly growing beets and spinach it turns on me. We aren't sure what happened, but everything but the tomatoes in that bed was scorched. We will have to research the cause and try not to make the same mistake next spring.

Spinach

We are pretty sure these plants went to seed, but we are not exactly sure why. I think they are diseased and infecting our beets. Don't know what to do next. I guess we'll look it up and ask around because there's not much left to do.

Playing with the Donnas.

The kids had a lot of fun holding, feeding, and playing with all of our animals today. It was a ton of fun!

Strawberries (part 2)

Andy suggested I look closer for green berries. I doubted him, but I suppose I shouldn't have because look what I found!!
